The Network+ certification expects every networking professional to be familiar with the most common networking protocols and the location of these common protocols in the Internet Protocol suite. In this video, we’ll detail the important protocols in the link, internet, and transport layers of the IP suite.

wow!
Thanks!!
Great video!
I wonder if its wrong to say that ARP is a network layer protocol too?
Cause ARP is using both IP adresses(Network layer) and MAC adresses (Link layer). Right?

Although ARP operates at Layer 2, it’s completely appropriate to consider the Layer 3 aspects of the protocol.
The OSI model isn’t a static set of rules, and there are plenty of places where protocols and technologies can span many different OSI layers.
Dear Professor James,
I am writing to express my sincere appreciation to you for all the efforts you did put to present a free video comptia A+ online. Let me tell you a little bit about myself, i am a practising civil engineer for 10yrs before recession struck last year, i was made redundant and life become so tough, i mean tough, i could not secure any construction job anymore. so while i was looking for an alternative means to earn money, a friend introduced A+ certification to me, so i went online bought a book from amazon by Mike Meyer and i started to study. While in the library one day, i met another guy studying for A+ also he gave me your website and my study becomes easier and also introduce me to a cisco academy. I started studying in Deceember 2008 and today i had passed both 601-750 and 602-900. i am very grateful for your help and i pray to GOD to reward you greatly. I also want to know when you will upload the video for N+, that is my next step, please do it quick and thank you.

The Network+ videos are posted as they are completed, so stay tuned!
this is really great, i learn a lot of things from this tutorial..more power to you professor..
Thank you very much> I am thrilled with the content and the method!
all your a+ and network+ videos are great
I have finished A+ now and now I am working on Network+. The review section at the back has changed for the better. In nearly all A+ videos I skipped the review. That was a major improvement of time.
Thanks again,
M. Jared Carson
I lost my job with the recession, I was in manufacturing and had computer experiance so when i decided to take a new carrer path I looked into getting my certs. I bought the A+ and NET+ books then found your website and I have to say these training videos are the best, I passed the A+ 220-601 and 602 after reading the first 3 chapterts of the book then watching all of your videos. I’m starting the NET+ today and am going to watch the videos first then go to the book. when i’m finished with the NET+ i’m going to start the CCNA.
Thanks,
Bryan
I passed my A+ recently with a lot of help from Professor Messer. After watching the first segment of the Network+ video it is apparent that nothing will be missing throughout his lessons. Thanks Professor Messer.
I am stunned.
This vastly surpasses -all- the paid training video’s I have previewed so far.
It is very clear what you are talking about, you are to the point and have a pace that perfectly fits my personal requirements.
Thank you very much Professor Messer.
Thank you so much. I passed my Network+ exam today and without your videos I don’t think it would have happened. You explained objectives that I just couldn’t get from the QuickCert videos. Thank you again for your marvelous work.
You rock Professor Messer!u00a0 Thanks a bunch!u00a0 Fun learning with you Sir!
