Computer no boot.

You’ve made some changes to your Windows XP boot.ini file, but now your system will not boot at all. What program can you use to rebuild your boot.ini file?

A) bootcfg

B) bootvis

C) fixboot

D) ntdetect

E) minesweeper

The answer: A) bootcfg

An incorrect boot.ini file can cause a perfectly healthy Windows configuration to stop booting, but bootcfg can easily rebuild the file. Once you boot to the Windows XP Recovery Console, it only takes bootcfg a few minutes to scan the hard drive and rebuild the boot.ini file.
