Do you need any memory?

You’re planning to upgrade from Windows Vista Home Basic to Windows Vista Home Premium. The computer is currently running with the minimum amount of required RAM. How much additional memory is recommended for this upgrade?

A) No additional memory

B) 256 MB

C) 512 MB

D) 1 GB

E) I was told there would be no math

The answer: C) 512 MB

The recommended memory requirement for Windows Vista Home Basic is 512 MB of RAM. Windows Vista Home Premium requires a recommended 1 GB of memory, which means that you’ll need an additional 512 MB of RAM to meet the recommendation. If you only need the minimum amount of memory, then you won’t need any additional RAM; the minimum amount of memory required for all Windows Vista editions is 512 MB of memory.
