What does a differential backup copy?

A) Everything changed since the last full backup

B) All system files changed since the last full or incremental backup

C) All operating system configuration changes since the previous day or the last application install

D) Everything changed since the last full or incremental backup

E) It’s just a copy. It’s just a copy.

The answer: A) Everything changed since the last full backup

A differential backup will backup everything since your last full backup, even if you’ve done other differential or incremental backups in the meantime. Each time you do a differential backup, it is just as large or larger than your last differential backup.
