During the process of adding a second operating system to a computer, you managed to corrupt the Windows XP boot.ini file. Running bootcfg /rebuild will scan your computer for Windows installations and will create a new boot.ini entry. After rebooting, you’ll have a new entry during startup that should properly start the operating system.
